Lightning-proof One of our major contributions to the industry is a lightning-proof patented, all-metal cast antenna which eliminates “P” (precipitation) static and offers high electrical efficiency, greater mechanical strength and longer service life than fiberglass antennas.
Reliability Another important feature of our products is D.C. grounding to provide additional lightning protection. Due to these and other features, Sensor Systems’ antennas are still operating with high reliability and efficiency long after most fiberglass antennas have completed their useful life.

Military

Sensor Systems offers navigation and communication antenna products that operate in frequency ranges from 30 MHz VHF to 14 GHz Ku band, in various customizable design configurations including blade, low-profile and flush-mount conformal antennas.

Military History Starting with a contract to supply the United States military with specialized high-power antennas for its AWACS and KC-135 aircraft, Sensor Systems Inc. in the past 50 years has designed and manufactured many mission-specific antenna configurations for fixed-wing and rotor-wing platforms for the armed forces.
Installations Our custom and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products are installed on MQ-1 Predators, MQ-9 Global Hawks, C-17 Globemasters, V-22 Ospreys, P-3 Orions and P-8 Poseidons, JAS-39 Gripens, F-15 Eagles and F-16 Falcons to name a few, as well as a wide array of missiles and target drones.
