This highly reliable marker beacon antenna is flush-mounted and is fabricated from a one piece drawn aluminum can. The antenna is foam filled with an epoxy glass radome.
The S35-2000-1 antenna’s electrical characteristics are similar to the short horizontal dipole while providing VSWR and radiation patterns per MIL-A-25367A.
The antenna is DC grounded to protect from lightning and is hermetically sealed for a long service life. The antenna is ideal for ground clearance requirements and zero drag. The antenna is interchangeable with AT-536/ARN-type antennas.
